Roofer (Canada)

General Duties and Responsibilities:
-Working on RESIDENTIAL homes
-Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
-Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
-Install sheet metal flashings
-Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
-Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
-Set up scaffolding to provide safe access to roofs
-Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings

- Minimum 3 to 5 years doing only roofing (80% or more of work time hours) of residential homes with a sloped roof (shingles or tiles).
Experience does not include framing/trusses
- Good physical condition to be able to lift 80-100lbs
- Good English skills, all of the communication with employer, including job interviews will be in English
- No issues with drug/alcohol
- Ready for minimum 2-years commitment/contract
- Candidate is responsible for all costs associated to their immigration to Canada, such as flights and fees related to applications, visas, training or testing.
