Robot Field Assistant

Starship Technologies is leading the delivery industry revolution with fleets of friendly pavement robots. We’re building autonomous robots designed to deliver parcels, groceries, and food in 15-30 minutes within a 4-5 kilometer radius. The company is looking for an Robot Field Assistant based in Tallinn. Starship has initiated commercial pilots with nearly 100 robots trundling along the pavements across Europe and the United States. The Robot Field Assistant will take part of the day-to-day operations for robot deliveries in Tallinn. Your main responsibilities would be:

Supporting specific delivery processes, such as filling customer orders, packing groceries in-store and loading the robots

Observing robots remotely and being ready to assist in unexpected situations

Delivering assistance to the robots by car or on foot

Communicating with the remotely situated Robot Operator in real time

Transporting the robots to delivery areas if needed

Responsible, reliable and calm in all situations

Independent and ready to take initiative in unexpected situations

A proactive self-starter, who seeks ways to contribute ideas and add value to the team

Happy to go outside and assist robots in any weather

Good in spoken and written English

Proficient in driving a car and has a B-category driver’s license to prove it
