Road Freight Specialist
Job Description
- Manage domestic and international LTL/FTL shipments from start to finish
- Coordinate pickups, tracking, delivery appointments, and resolve issues proactively
- Communicate daily with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and vendors
- Handle basic customs documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
- Source new carriers and vendors, negotiate rates, and maintain updated pricing
- Provide fast, accurate communication internally and externally
- Maintain shipment data in company systems with high attention to detail
Requirements
- Strong logical thinker: motivated, reliable, sharp, and a true team player
- Speaks Estonian, English and Russian.
- Previous experience in transportation/logistics, preferably in trucking or freight forwarding
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable communicating by phone and email with customers and partners
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Proactive and able to handle stress and unexpected situations with a calm mindset
