Job Description

We are the growing startup for Consumer Behavior Analytics software that allows Retail clients to dramatically improve their sales performance. We are looking for a Regional Sales & Business Development Manager who has the software/sales experience within/to Retail Industry. As a Business Development Manager, your role is to bring in new business across domestic and international markets. You will be expected to consistently hit revenue targets by selling Retail Instruments to potential clients in Retail, Shopping Malls, fast food, etc. You should have a strong consultative sales approach and a passion for the Retail industry, acting as a trusted adviser throughout the sales cycle. An ideal candidate will have exceptional social skills, bringing diversity, energy, and cohesiveness to the team.

What you'll be doing:

· Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets

· Identify & generate leads in combination with Marketing and Founders team

· A consultative sales approach and knowledge of how to maintain control of a conversation

· Building trusted advisor relationships with named accounts

· Accurate and documented forecasting of named accounts revenue streams

· Represent Retail Instruments with style and grace on the phone and personally with prospective clients

· Be the first line of contact, quick on your feet, and handle objections like a pro


What you need for this position:

· Experience with all imaginable sales cycle phases from cold call to closing and up to account management

· Self-starter with entrepreneurial desire

· Background of selling solutions to Retail Industry is a MUST (ERP, BI, CRM) along with overall passion to Retail

· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal skills

· Strong customer facing and public presentation skills

· 5-7 years experience in software solution selling (SaaS desired)

· Have a deep understanding of the entire sales process

· A fearless ability to proactively engage new clients that may not have heard of us

· The skills to passionately and clearly articulate value/benefit - we don’t sell price

· A firm understanding of how to qualify buyer interest and identify target customers

· Bachelors’ degree or equivalent required
