Job Description
The Infrastructure Business Unit is the central provider of state-of-the-art IT infrastructure platform solutions to Playtech’s B2B customers. Our customers can trust us with running the IT infrastructure of their gaming environments so they can focus on running their primary activities.
We are looking for a R&D Project Manager to drive R&D projects related to enhancing Playtech’s infrastructure platform and thereby help to increase Playtech’s competitive advantages in our market segment.
Such projects involve:
- Continuously improving Playtech’s infrastructure architecture – to benefit from technological evolution and meet market expectations.
- Researching and testing new technologies – including hardware, software, cloud services etc.
- Designing new and tailored enterprise-level solutions – integrating different technologies and “building blocks” to create extra value.
- Designing and developing automated maintenance, deployment and provisioning framework – cooperation with various other R&D and operational units within the company.
The R&D Project Manager will be working together with Playtech’s and external experts in different IT domains – server virtualization, Big Data, cloud services, security and many others.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in IT industry
- Previous technical project management experience
- Technical understanding and knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and server-based services
- High motivation and ability to operate effectively without close supervision
- Ability to deliver high quality results under tight timelines
- Very good communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Fluent written and spoken Estonian and English
- Experience in software development lifecycle will be beneficial
