We are now looking for a Quality manager to join UPM Plywood Otepää mill.

What will you do

• Develop the unit's operations and product quality
• Implement and train new methods of continuous improvement and quality management
• Support the factories' line organizations in solving problems related to production and customer quality
• Develop Otepää plywood mill operations within the agreed framework (management, quality, operational efficiency, management system)
• Develop and implements new and systematic methods of operation and tools at a practical level
• Be responsible for the quality control department, including quality control of the unit's raw materials (resins & coatings)
• Implement operational and quality development projects
• Identificate and transfer the best practices from one unit to another, as well as external benchmarking
• Act as a member of the operational development network at the business level

• You have a Master´s degree in engineering or other equivalent studies
• You have ability to act independently and take initiative to evaluate operational performance and carry out development projects as the leader of a team
• You are comfortable with using different software and can quickly learn new ones
• You are fluent in Estonian and have good English language skills. You can communicate effectively with anyone.
• You have knowledge and basic skills of SPC and statistical analysis
• You have knowledge of quality system standards
• You have good cooperation skills and the courage to act purposefully in different situations, building a positive rapport among people
• You are a team player and always put the team's goals in the first place
