Quality engineer

Meconet AS is looking for a Quality Engineer to strengthen our technical support team. Typical daily work could include the following tasks:

* Analysing the reported product quality deviations and planning/implementing necessary actions to avoid those in the future
* Actively seeking and analysing potential areas of improvements in our current production processes
* Maintain our current quality and environmental systems (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001)
* Hosting customer's quality or performance audits in our factory

We are looking for a person with the following characteristics:

* Technical education (engineer, BSc level) or long working history in similar position
* Basic knowledge on the quality and environmental standards and systems like ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO/TS16949
* Basic knowledge on the "LEAN" philosophy and practical applications
* Natural interest and motivation to develop the processes and practices in the manufacturing environment
* Fluent written and spoken English language is required to be able to communicate with your colleagues in Finland and Sweden, as well as with our international customers
* Good Estonian and Russian language skills are required to manage in daily operations with the local employees
