Job Description:
- Support and develop the quality assurance system across production and project phases.
- Perform inspections and supervise quality control activities in mechanical, electrical, and structural areas.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 3834, EN 1090), and internal quality procedures.
- Maintain and improve documentation processes, control non-conformities, and monitor corrective actions.
- Act as a liaison between engineering, production, and project management in quality-related topics.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and manage quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), FAT protocols, and Certificates of Conformity.
- Perform physical inspections of products and supervise testing activities.
- Support internal and external audits (e.g. ISO, customer audits).
- Train and support production staff on quality standards and proper documentation practices.
Candidate Expectations:
- Degree in welding engineering or certified qualification as a Welding Coordinator, IWS (International Welding Specialist), or IWE (International Welding Engineer).
- Ability to understand and interpret Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), technical drawings, and evaluate the quality of both documentation and physical products.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and other basic office and reporting tools.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with standards such as EN 1090, ISO 3834, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
- Experience in preparing or reviewing ITPs, FAT procedures, and Certificates of Conformity is considered a strong asset.
- At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance, welding supervision, or production engineering.
- Ability to perform in-process inspections and support stage-by-stage quality control during production.
- High attention to detail, a systematic and organized approach, and strong documentation discipline.
- Ability to analyze root causes of defects and deviations, and take corrective actions accordingly.
- Fluent in English and Estonian (spoken and written).
