QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD

Under the supervision of the Site Manager, Quality Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and keep running the processes of the Plant’s System of Quality Management. Acts as the Plant’s official on any checks of quality held by the customers or any other outer organizations with regard to issues relevant to the Quality System. 

• Reports to the Site Manager.
• Works closely with Lab supervisor
• Acts according to all applicable policies, rules, standards and regulations of the Site and the Eastman Chemical Company

• University degree in related areas
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality systems
• Fluency in Russian, English and Estonian
• Computer proficient in word processing (MS Word), spreadsheet (MS Excel), internet browser and e-mail software (Internet Explorer, Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills, responsibility, accountability, flexibility and management skills.
• Attention to details and ability to coordinate audits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sets performance goals and focus areas for Quality related topics
• Coordinate and participate in cGMP, FAMI-QS, Kosher, Halal, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and FSSC 22000 quality issues that arise at the site.
• Develops key quality documents to ensure compliance with standards and regulations (cGMP, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, FSSC 22000, FAMI-QS, Halal and Kosher).
• Coordinate HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control point) system at KJ site.
• Coordinate site training on Quality systems.
• Coordinates internal QA audits of KJ site.
• Sets targets, which are to be consistent with the followed quality policies, and makes provisions for their implementing in compliance with the requirements of the quality management system.  
• Establishes and manages the system of quality checks to be carried out in accordance with the approved schedule.
• Plans the analysis of the Quality System efficiency and submits the review on the Integrated Quality Management System performance for the periodical analysis to be held by the Site Leadership Team.
• Arranges the work on gathering the information from the customers on the quality of performance of works and contracts.
• Provides the system of quality management with necessary resources, as well as secures its continuous upgrading, while preserving its integrity.
• Performs other functions, apart from those mentioned in this job description, which are connected with labor activities of this position and as shall be assigned by Direct Manager.
