Job Description

We are looking for Buyer to help us build and expand dark store & kitchen operations in Estonia.

It’s an exciting once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as you would work with smart people, come up with scalable solutions to operational problems, and see the impact of your work daily.  

Clean Kitchen introduced meal kits to Estonia, have grown 80% MoM and reached 1m in ARR in the first 7 months. We are expanding to many more countries in the coming years and creating exciting new formats that will disrupt the food & grocery market.  

Your responsibilities:

  • Purchase goods, food, component’s or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets 
  • To work with the current suppliers and to ve able to find new one, to find good quality products, to negotiate the price.
  • Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality and delivery  
  • To be responsible for packaging, labeling 
  • Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing 
  • Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues 
  • Overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues 
  • Assess and evaluate suppliers and contribute to performance reviews to ensure contract compliance
  • To make a research on and implement product tracking system 

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in inventory and supply chain management / buyer 
  • Experience in purchasing food and working with local suppliers 
  • Strong analytical and customer-focused mindset
  • Passion for process improvement to ensure an uninterrupted supply of spare-parts together with the key suppliers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • You should possess a great team work attitude, strong attention to detail and preventing errors and solving problems.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and make the decisions
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Estonian, preferably also Russian
