Project manager - Ship Modernization and Steel Structures

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and manage ship modernization projects and steel structure fabrication projects in the production room.

This is a combined role for a specialist who is ready to work both on board a ship and in a production environment.

You will be responsible for the full project management process – from planning and procurement to execution of works, project completion and preparation of final documentation, in close cooperation with customers, suppliers, production and external teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing ship modernization projects;
• Managing steel structure fabrication projects in the production room;
• Planning deadlines, budgets and resources;
• Coordination with customers, suppliers, classification societies and subcontractors;
• Checking the execution of work on board the ship and in production;
• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and technical requirements;
• Maintaining documentation, reporting and closing projects.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a project manager in the field of shipping, ship repair, steel structures or piping projects;
• Deep understanding of steel structures, welding, manufacturing and installation works;
• Experience in ship modernization or retrofit projects is a great advantage;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications;
• Developed organizational and communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for results.
