Product Operations Technical Lead - Assets

We’re looking for a Product Operations Technical Lead (Assets) to join our team in the Tallinn office. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise’s mission, grow as a leader of our Operations teams and help save millions more people money.

Wise Assets is one of our fastest-growing products, already live in the UK, EU, Singapore, Australia, and Brazil. Traditional banks are non-transparent and unfair keeping most of the returns from customer deposits. With Wise Assets, we give control back: customers choose how their money is held and invested, while we charge a fair, transparent fee and return the rest.

In this role, you will elevate that mission by leading the scalable expansion of the Assets product and the frictionless launch of new investment solutions.

Your mission is to develop a strong Operations team and support specialists on their personal growth paths.

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the Operations Team:

• Operationalisation Ownership: Be the link between the Grow Squad and Operations, translating product needs into clear operationalisation strategies.
• Operational Performance: Ensure continuous operational excellence and meet ambitious goals for trade order submissions and settlements, reducing alert escalations as our products expand.
• Process Automation: Champion projects to optimize workflows, integrate automation tools, and minimize manual workload for risk reviews.
• Risk Management: Champion the initiative to enhance risk management in the Grow Squad, dealing with audit findings and establishing key risk indicators (KRIs) for new processes absorbed in the team.
• Domain Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of the different products offered by the Grow Operations team in order to ensure the best decisions are being made and all variables are being taken into account.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Banking on high-impact initiatives to drive sustainable growth.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze trends to identify gaps, propose solutions, and improve scalability.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and prioritize the work of Specialists and System experts to ensure efficient and high-quality operational delivery.

• Work Globally - You’ll work closely with internal and external partners and help to figure out ways to scale the growth in Assets. You’ll also occasionally travel to work and learn with our teams in other locations!
