Job Description
- Collaborate closely with Product Management and Product Marketing leadership to define and execute on the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Malwarebytes for Teams product line for small businesses
- Act as the technical product expert for the Mac technology stack
- Work with Growth and UI/UX teams to define new product experiences
- Translate high-level product features into epics and detailed user stories
- Own the Product backlog and implementation of user stories
- Build, prune and maintain the team backlog of epics, user stories, defects, refactors, infrastructure work
- Prepare and participate in release planning
- Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and daily standups
- Coordinate with Program Management and Marketing to ensure smooth product launches
- Manage beta programs and participate in forums on on-going basis
- Engage with customers to better understand their needs
- Evangelize and defend the vision of the product with the internal teams on a day to day basis
- Advocate for users to ensure customer satisfaction and acceptance
- Maintain close relationship with the cross-functional team (Sales, Support, Marketing, Engineering, and Test Engineering) to answer questions about your product
- Collaborate with other Technical, Product Strategy and Product Marketing Managers to share knowledge and experience, coordinate with other releases and deliver great products
- Analyze competitive landscape and conduct technology assessments
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of software product management experience
- Background in the Mac space required
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred
- Self-directed, proactive, highly detailed-oriented, results-driven, with ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving, collaborative environment
- Strong exposure to user experience design and user research
- Ability to collaborate and interact across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels
- Ability to speak with internal and external customers with knowledge and professionalism
- Creative thinker, problem solver, and strong leader with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, adapt to changes, and maintain positive attitude
- Highly self-motivated, pro-actively reporting on status and tasks
- Enthusiasm for working in a fun and fast-paced culture
- Travel as required (when this is once again possible)
