Product Manager (E-Commerce Gateway)

Paywerk is a fast-growing payments startup, recently acquired by Swedbank AB, with the ambition to become the e-commerce knowledge hub for Swedbank Baltics.

In Paywerk you have the opportunity to:

• Own the vision, roadmap as well as processes for E-Commerce Gateway in the Baltics, ensuring it delivers a seamless, secure, and scalable payment experience;
• Work closely with partners, engineering and support team to design and deliver payment features and integrations;
• Define clear product requirements, user stories, and success metrics for new initiatives;
• Analyse data, merchant feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvements and new capabilities;
• Support commercial teams with product insights and strategic guidance;
• Coordinate product launches end-to-end, ensuring readiness across all functions.

• 5+ years experience in product management within payments, fintech, e-commerce platforms, or other financial systems;
• Strong understanding of payment gateways and payment methods;
• Technical fluency in APIs, integration patterns, and modern architectures, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams;
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, internal and external partners, support, merchant-facing organisation);
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset;
• Relevant education such as a degree in business, computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience;
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Estonian is a bonus.
