Product Analyst - Business Ops Tooling

Wise
2600 - 3500 €/m Gross

Job Description

We’re looking for a Product Analysts to join Wise Business, our international business account.

The Wise Business account helps small and medium-sized businesses across the world focus on what matters most to them: growth.

What you'll be doing:

  • Defining the "Right" Tools: You will partner closely with Product and Engineering to define data requirements and logic. Your analysis will ensure we don't just build a tool, but that we build the right tool to support our Account Specialists — solving the actual user problem.
  • Building the Analytical Greenfield Foundation: As part of a brand new team, you will take ownership of building the very first dashboards and metrics from scratch. You will establish the standards for how we track success in a complex, fast-growing environment where processes may not yet exist.
  • Steering strategy with actionable insights: You won’t just report on what happened; you will tell us what to do about it. You will proactively derive insights that steer Operations on efficiency and Product on feature prioritization, directly influencing our roadmap.
  • Challenging the status quo: You will help move stakeholders towards a data-driven mindset, using your findings to challenge assumptions and ensure our Operations scale efficiently rather than just adding more people.
  • Managing Ambiguity: As part of a brand new team, you will navigate an environment where processes and their supporting data may not exist yet, helping to build them from scratch.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills (spreadsheets and SQL)
  • Data Visualization: You have experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, Superset, PowerBI, Tableau etc.) and demonstrate storytelling ability with data.
  • Process & Logical Thinking: You have the ability to map out operational workflows to understand tooling needs and logical requirements.
  • Communication: You can explain complex data clearly to non-technical Operations and Product partners to "steer" their decisions.
  • Initiative & Ownership: You are comfortable working in a greenfield environment where the path isn't always defined, and you have a desire to understand the "why" behind operational inefficiencies.

Nice to have but not essential:

  • Domain Experience: Experience in B2B or FinTech, specifically understanding the mechanics of high-touch account management (e.g., lead scoring, churn prevention, or cross-sell loops).
  • Commercial Thinking: Experience applying analytics to sales or revenue problems, such as calculating ROI or analyzing funnel conversion rates.
