Job Description
PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST (equipment) who will play a key role in ensuring the company’s operational efficiency by identifying, sourcing, and procuring production equipment, tools, and related technical assets from reliable global suppliers. The primary focus is on building and maintaining supplier relationships in Asia, including exploring opportunities outside of China, to secure high-quality equipment at competitive costs. This position bridges technical understanding and strategic procurement to support project execution and cost optimization.
Your key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for equipment and tools to meet project and production requirements.
- Identify and qualify potential suppliers globally, with a primary focus on Asia.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments, and performance evaluations.
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes – from RFQs (Request for Quotation) to final supplier selection and contract negotiation.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, compliance with specifications, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
We expect you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in equipment or technical sourcing, preferably in an international environment.
- Proven experience in managing suppliers in Asia; experience outside of China is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated success in negotiation and contract management.
- Experience with project-based procurement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Confident user of ERP systems and strong knowledge in standard costing
- Fluent oral and written English and Russian, Estonian is an advantage.
