
Job Description
We are looking for an amazing Full-time Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for: Estonia, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Norway, and Sweden payroll coordination.
What will you do?
- Provide correct data for our payroll provider and make sure correct data is on our administrative databases and systems
- Manage employees’ data in the payroll system including income tax applications and residency status check
- Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
- Managing regular preparation of relevant management reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, absences etc.)
- Provide information and answer employee questions about payroll-related matters, resolving concerns
- Prepare reports for accounting, and auditing and be the main point of contact for audits related to Payroll questions
- Manage employees in the Estonian Employment Registry and provide reports to the Estonian Social Insurance Fund, Estonian Statistics Department, Estonian Tax Department
- Manage relationships with 3rd party payroll providers
- Coordinate with HR specialists and country managers to ensure correct employee data.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Good knowledge of Estonian taxes
- Good experience in payroll
- You're a strong team player, but also able to work independently
- High-level Excel skills
- Ability to listen, ask relevant questions, and understand the goals of the business
- Fluency in English
You'll get extra credit for:
- knowledge/experience of Scandinavian countries' payroll
- Swedish or Norwegian language skills
