Windak is a leader in “State of the art” automated packaging equipment for the International Cable and Wire industry. We are now searching for a Senior Purchasing Manager for the Windak Group.

Windak design and manufacture automated packaging equipment for the cable and wire industry. Our products have been supplied to customers in more than 35 countries. We have offices in four locations – Estonia (Head Quarters/R&D/Manufacturing and Production), Austria, USA and Australia (Sales/Services offices). Together, we have 80 employees with a turnover in excess of 15 million EUR. 

We are searching for a Senior and Driven purchasing professional, who has experience in the electronics or manufacturing sector and can develop a class leading team.  The ability to develop relationships with key suppliers and achieve competitive prices, whilst ensuring quality and on time delivery is essential. This person will report directly to the Director of Business Development and be part of the company's senior management team.

Responsibilities 

•    Management of the purchasing team.

•    Achieving KPI targets for costs, quality and on time delivery.

•    Sourcing new suppliers and developing existing ones.

•    Sourcing equipment and materials to ensure our manufacturing team can         achieve class leading results.

•    Develop our ERP system (Monitor) to improve transparency of supply and         the efficiency of our business processes.

•    Create and be responsible for budgets.

Requirements

•    Highly skilled/experienced in

•    Manufacturing/engineering industry

•    Team leading – Personnel management

•    Price negotiation

•    Project management

•    Large network of manufacturers and suppliers throughout the EU

•    Familiarity with ERP systems such as Monitor.

•    Excellent English and Estonian languages, (Russian and German are           desirable).
