OCEAN FREIGHT OPERATION SPECIALIST

The role is responsible for coordinating and consolidating operational and transportation documentation, including bookings, bills of lading, pre-advices and loading confirmations. The position manages import and export bookings in close cooperation with Customer Services and origin stations, ensuring compliance with routing guidelines and smooth operational execution.

The incumbent executes the co-loader policy in line with group standards, monitors co-loader performance, and ensures accurate hub billing and job costing. The role supports cost leadership through rate analysis and close monitoring of cost of sales, while securing capacity allocations and maintaining operational efficiency.

This position requires proactive communication with supervisors regarding transportation issues, capacity planning challenges, and customer-impacting matters.

Your written and verbal communication skills are strong, and you are fluent in Estonian and English; Russian is required at a communication level. As this position involves cost control, rate analysis and job costing, the candidate must be comfortable working with numbers and have strong numerical accuracy.

The ideal candidate communicates confidently, influences effectively, and is able to make sound judgments and practical decisions. Intermediate Excel skills, knowledge of standard runner practices, and at least two years of experience in a similar role are required.
