Music teacher

Tallinn International Kindergarten is looking for part time Music Teacher.

The lessons are 2 times a week 10.00-11.30. We have 3 groups for kids 1,5-7 years old.

The main duties:

-To plan lessons and teach music according to kindergarten curriculum and using Orff pedagogy methods,

-To plan and organize the childrens parties and concerts according to kindergarten year plan,

-To make weekly plans and participate in kids evaluation process 1-2 times a year.

-To help with planning and organizing music concerts (30-35 min) for kids once a month from October to May.

-Participate in teachers meetings 1-2 times a month. Participate in planning and realisation of Erasmus project Musicon.

It would be great if you can play the guitar or some other instrument and have experience woking with kids as music teacher. The camunication and teaching is in English.

- English language B2-C1, Estonian language B1-B2.

- Bachelor or Master degree in music teaching or early childhood education,

- knowledge of Orff approach and the desire to use it in your lessons,

- creative and child oriented in teaching,

- strong communication skill,

- at least 1-2 years of relevant experience,

* basic communication skills in Russian is an advantage, but are not required

- Small and friendly team

- Small groups. There are only 10-12 kids in the group
