We are looking for a Design Engineer at ABB Drives and Renewables unit. You will be working on customer projects in our Order Based Engineering team as a mechanical designer. In this position, you will work in close cooperation with our customers, sales, R&D, product management and production. The core of this role is designing cabinet built drives on customer orders. First and foremost we are looking for a good match with our team, a person with the right attitude and willingness to grow into this role.

Finding solutions to customer applications for standard products• Preparing technical documentation• Coordinating project schedules• Ensuring that design tasks are done with high quality and on time• Management of prototype and pilot manufacturing

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics• Common knowledge of product and process development• Customer and result oriented• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English• Proactive, self-reliant way of working• Understanding the importance of customer relations
