The position

In this position as Medical Representative you will be responsible for effective, ethical promotion of Novo Nordisk and its products according to the company’s internal procedures and legal regulation in order to reach the sales targets for the area and the whole company. In this role you will be covering North & East of Estonia, and you will be reporting to the Field Sales Manager.

 

Essential responsibilities: 

  • Effective and ethical promotion of company’s diabetes products in the assigned territory. 
  • Initiation and realization of promotional program in the area through visiting of target groups  - GPs, endocrinologists, opinion leaders, pharmacists and other customers that have influence on Novo Nordisk activities. 
  • Achieve territory sales objectives 
  • Put forward proposals for new promotional programs in the area. 
  • Active participation in the territory management system and analysis of sales results in the area to prepare a better, more effective promotional plan based on these analyses and other information. 
  • Collect information about the activities of Novo Nordisk competitors, general situation on the market.
  • Effective territory coverage and submission of a plan for weekly visits.
  • Act as a partner of the doctors, providing them with continuous medical information update.
  • Participation in congresses, meetings, domestic and international exhibitions concerning Novo Nordisk activities and products.
  • Controls expenses and allocate promotional budget in order to achieve size and structure of sales and propose corrective actions in order to achieve them.
  • Create and maintain database for all contacts within the territory.

Requirements

Qualifications and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferable in Medicine, Pharmacy or Nature Science).
  • Previous experience in a similar position (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry).
  • Selling skills. Ability to communicate and build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Team player, excellent in planning and organizing.
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fluent in Estonian.
  • Intermediate English and Russian.
  • Driving license.
