Main responsibilities
- Assemble and integrate complete drone systems from modular components
- Configure flight controllers (ArduPilot / PX4) and tune autonomous flight parameters
- Integrate sensors, cameras, telemetry, and control hardware
- Wire and configure communication buses (UART, I²C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet)
- Support test campaigns, data collection, and troubleshooting
- Contribute to rapid prototyping (3D printing, CAD, workshop fabrication)
- Maintain documentation and ensure system reproducibility
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience building drones capable of automatic flight (ArduPilot / PX4)
- Solid understanding of radio communication and telemetry systems
- Familiar with drone peripherals: ESCs, GPS, sensors, gimbals, cameras, servos, power systems
- Comfortable with basic electronics, soldering, crimping, and wiring standards
- Experience with FPV drones is a strong plus
- Basic skills in CAD and rapid prototyping are beneficial
- Able to operate drones safely (A1/A3 license preferred)
- Some exposure to project management or small technical builds
