Mass Spectrometry Specialist

Icosagen Cell Factory OÜ is a biotechnology company that provides development and manufacturing services for therapeutic and diagnostic antibodies and licenses its proprietary patented expression technology.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mass Spectrometry Specialist to take a dedicated role in LC-MS/MS analysis within our analytics laboratory. This position is suitable for a specialist who enjoys scientific responsibility, data interpretation, and method development in a regulated biotech environment. Depending on experience, the role may be filled at Specialist or Senior Specialist level.

Key responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret LC-MS/MS data analyses (e.g. intact mass, peptide mapping, and targeted peptide quantitation)
- Ensure high quality, reproducibility, and traceability of analytical data
- Prepare scientific reports and summaries of analytical results
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and oversee routine maintenance of LC-MS instrumentation
- Contribute to the development, optimization, and validation of modern analytical LC-MS/MS methods
- Create and update SOPs and analytical documentation.

Required and preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology
- Strong hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS, preferably protein and biotherapeutic analysis
- Experience with mass spectrometry data analysis software (e.g. Chromeleon, Byos, BioPharma Finder, Skyline, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for analytical results
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Very good written and spoken English
