Job Description
We are looking for a business development manager responsible for sales and marketing activities in collaboration with the business units and the research team. The manager is responsible for creating and developing new opportunities and business with both existing and potential clients and enabling the business units to achieve their business targets efficiently and effectively and with a high level of client service. The client contacts are both national and international.
The key assignment and responsibilities:
- Understanding client requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals
- Promoting the company's brands and introducing services to the clients to develop new opportunities
- Researching and getting potential clients information through working with the research team
- Approaching potential clients by appropriate methods to develop opportunities
- Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits or other appropriate methods, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities
- Coordinating meetings between potential clients and the company’s operation team to provide details of services to them
- Assisting/consulting the business units in preparing offers and leading/following up the offer processes
- B2b, B2c partnership development on behalf & in accordance with the business units/services of the company
- Preparing annual budget plans and scheduling expenditures
- Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports
- Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks
- Training of personnel regarding the above mentioned (sales, marketing, strategy, business development) where necessary
Requirements
We would like to hear from you if you:
- have previous experience with the above responsibilities
- are proactive, determined, and you will not hesitate to tackle the demanding challenges
- have fluent oral and written skills in English, in Finnish would be an advantage
- have a positive mindset and enjoy working in an international environment
- have understanding or earlier experience within the pharmaceutical field (especially regulatory affairs, safety, or clinical research)
