Job Description
JUNIOR ENGINEER,
Hop on board!
LTH-Baas is expanding its engineering division that offers a basic and detailed design of ship structures, systems, and interiors. We are looking for engineers with relevant ship design experience, but you are also welcome to send us your CV if you are an expert in HVAC, piping, systems, machinery, electrical, structural, or interior design without marine experience.
Job Description:
- Ships and shipyards’ site visits (business trips at least 50% of the working time);
- Preparation of estimations based on the ship visits;
- Creating the technical documentation, reports, and specifications;
- Communication with the clients and material/servicesuppliers;
- Assistance with project planning, design, and engineering.
Requirements
- Education and/or work experience in the engineering field;
- AutoCAD (or other similar software) and Microsoft Project skills or understanding;
- Ability to create a basic design and carry out relevant calculations in his/her engineering discipline;
- Good language skills in English (speaking and writing);
- High level of self-discipline and good stress tolerance.
Education and/or work experience in ship design is an additional advantage!
