Job Description
TASKS:
- Draft reports, letters, presentations, and meeting minutes in English and French;
- Coordinate document flows and communications related to staff matters;
- Organize appointments and meetings and support planning and execution processes;
- Review staff contracts and renewals in line with EU Staff Regulations;
- Advise on HR templates, employment matters, and administrative procedures;
- Support legal processes including complaints, inquiries, and litigation;
- Manage documents using ARES (including e-signature workflows) ;
- Register and assess legal questions from internal stakeholders;
- Provide legal expertise on EU legislation and internal policy compliance;
- Draft legal opinions, briefs, and correspondence;
- Support development and implementation of internal policies;
- Ensure proper document management and flow coordination;
- Monitor EU case law and legislative developments relevant to eu-LISA;
- Conduct legal research on large-scale IT systems and public access to documents;
- Summarize and translate relevant case law from French to English.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Post-secondary education attested by a diploma or a level of secondary education attested by a diploma;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in law/juridical field;
- Fluency in English and good command of French;
- Experience in the field of administrative work, ability to work under pressure and respond to changes;
- Good organizational skills and decision making skills;
- Supportive and helpful personality, with co-operative and service-oriented attitude;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to cooperate smoothly in the multicultural environment
