IT System Administrator – Supporting Avesco Finland

Avesco Finland is the official Caterpillar dealer in Finland and a provider of construction equipment, energy systems, and technical solutions. With more than 260 employees across seven locations, Avesco Finland supports customers nationwide through sales, service, maintenance, and technical expertise.

We are looking for an IT System Administrator to support Avesco Finland and help ensure a modern, secure, and efficient IT environment for our users.

In this role, you will be the primary IT partner for Avesco Finland employees, providing high-quality support while contributing to the development and continuous improvement of IT services and digital solutions. You will work closely with colleagues across Finland and collaborate with the wider Avesco Group IT team on various initiatives and projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees across Avesco Finland via service portal, email and phone.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and identity-related administration.
• Order, prepare, configure, and deploy laptops, mobile phones, and other IT equipment for new and existing employees.
• Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including installation, upgrades, replacements, and inventory management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, Microsoft 365, and access-related issues.
• Participate in IT projects and the implementation of new technologies and solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and support the continuous improvement of IT processes.
• Contribute to a secure, reliable, and user-friendly IT environment.

• Previous experience in IT Support, IT Administrator, System Administrator, or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows-based environments.
• Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Finnish language skills at a professional communication level, both written and spoken.
• Good English language skills for communication within an international environment.
• Availability to travel Finland.
