IT Director

Responsibilities:

- As the IT Director at Elcogen, you will have the freedom in the development and implementation of Elcogen Group's ICT strategy and long-term vision of the organization’s IT function.
- You will work on aligning ICT strategy with business objectives, managing budgets and resources, ensuring cybersecurity and compliance, driving innovation and digital transformation, and enhancing organizational competitiveness.
- In addition to it, you will work on hardware, software, and network tasks and provide hands-on support to internal customers, establishing robust IT systems to support daily operations on the group level.
- You will make decisions that impact the entire IT function and aligning IT initiatives with broader business goals.
- You will report to the CEO and collaborate with Elcogen's management team and external partners to drive Elcogen's sustainable development.

Main experience and education

- Extensive experience as an organizational leader in the field of IT management, with a focus on strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of ICT solutions.
- You hold a university degree, preferably in Computer Sciences or relevant filed.
- 5+ years’ experience in ITC management, within industrial and global businesses.
- You have exposure to and enjoy working in multicultural, international environments.

Electrolysers and fuel cells technologies are essential in driving the transition to a Net Zero economy. Solid oxide (SO) technology is a key enabler in this transition by providing a highly efficient, flexible solution that is free from critical/scarce raw materials.


Elcogen is a European clean energy technology company providing the best-in-class SO core technology that sits at the heart of energy security and the hydrogen economy. Twenty years of dedicated development and demonstrations have led to mature cells and stacks that offer the highest efficiency, robustness, and reversibility, that are commercially available today from its current fully utilized demonstration-scale series production plant.
To serve customer demand Elcogen is about to build Elco I, its first large scale manufacturing plant, and to launch an ambitious global expansion scale up plan toward the role of market leader in the SO technology.
