Job Description

The day-to-day job 

Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, from job description preparation, job posting, candidate screening and selection to onboarding.
  • Quickly create a pipeline in the region and review candidates efficiently.
  • Review employment contracts across Europe, collaborating with local professionals to ensure compliance and alignment with regional regulations and standards. 

Team Management: 

  • Identify problems and take initiative to improve overall company performance, even if it initially appears to be a non-HR matter. 
  • Work effectively in an international team setting to ensure seamless collaboration and productivity among teammates. 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies. 

Employee Relations, Training and Development: 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters 
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. 
  • Facilitate learning opportunities and workshops to promote continuous learning and career development. 

Compliance and Policy Implementation: 

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. 
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to promote fairness, consistency, and legal compliance across the organization 

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and address organizational challenges proactively, even in areas beyond traditional HR responsibilities.  
  • Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a fast-paced retail or distribution environment. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization. 
  • Strong collaboration skills to effectively work with team members and local professionals across multiple European regions. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks effectively under pressure.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  • Proficiency in speaking Estonian and Russian, as well as residing Tartu (where our office is located) are pluses. 
  • Enjoy helping others with team-player attitude, and a considerate mindset toward others.
