Job Description
The Hotel Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all areas of guest service and hotel operations, including front desk, rooms, housekeeping, night audit, food service, maintenance and security to ensure superior service and guest satisfaction. Importantly, the Hotel Manager will play a key role in establishing and maintaining company’s Culture and Brand Standards throughout the property.
At least 2 yours of experience in Hotel management
Higher Education, hospitality management preferred
Strong management skills
Ability to manage difficult guest situations, respond promptly to guest needs Ability to appropriately assign/delegate work and authority to others in the accomplishment of goals
Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated positive customer service skills, and ability to relate to people of varying ages and backgrounds
Good Estonian, English and Russian skills verbal and written
Requirements
Be fully involved in the day to day hotel operation; manage all hotel departments – reception, kitchen & breakfast service, housekeeping, maintenance
Actively participate in the development of all key managerial positions and manage effectively labour turnover, recruitment and employee development within budgeted parameters
Create, maintain and encourage excellent public and employee relations
Be client oriented, with common understanding of high level of client service and skills necessary to deal with problem situations
Supervising all stock checks and inventories in all hotel departments
Be able to work independently as well as under the management of the head-office
Be able to prepare necessary reports by the management and be ready to present and motivate results
Ensure business is operating in systematic manner and recommend plans for identified weaknesses
