Head of Project and Product Management (Head of Programs)

As Head of Project and Product Management Team or Head of Programs you will be responsible for the successful delivery of customer programs and internal R&D projects, supporting entry into service and providing post-delivery customer support and associated services as well as supporting Sales activities.

More in detail, you will:

• Support the Business Unit by providing input for strategic planning, product planning (Roadmap), sales, budgetary requirements, work estimates and other relevant requirements.
• Manage the personnel of the Program Delivery Team (including Project Management, Product Management, System Analysts and Product Assurance team members) via setting goals, performance management, development planning, recruitment, recommending progression & promotions, mentoring and coaching.
• Supervise the work of the Program Delivery Team to ensure the on-time and on-budget high quality product solutions.
• Identify market trends and customers' needs to adapt to changing market conditions and to drive business growth.
• Represent the company and product at industry events, by meeting with customers, and 3rd party partners.
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Marketing, Sales and other departments to ensure seamless product development and delivery.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of Project Management or Managerial leadership delivery experience of complex product solutions.
• Strong knowledge of product development lifecycle, project management methodologies, software and product verification and validation methodologies and familiarity with the AGILE/SCRUM methodology.
• Collaborative, problem-solving, detail oriented and hands-on mindset and the ability to work effectively with teams and partners across multiple geographical locations.
• Proficiency in Estonian and English language.

It is important to know that the position requires travelling. The candidate must be able to travel to Canada, United States and other countries if it´s needed.
