Job Description

What will you do?

As a GM&E Manager you are responsible for working closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand existing business through driving group, meeting & event conversion and securing exceptional experiences through customer orientated event execution. You will work to develop the GM&E team and groom a high-performing sales force. You promote the services and facilities of the Hotel and build strong relationships with customers and guests.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Be a proactive creator of “The Hilton Effect” - a passionate ambassador of Hilton Tallinn Park, filling the world with light and warmth of hospitality
  • Ensure the Group, Meeting and Events (GM&E) Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, contracts processing and securing accurate billing
  • Develop an effective network within Hilton Worldwide global Sales organization and local industry organizations
  • Contribute to business review meetings and implement selling strategies in line with hotel commercial goals as agreed with Commercial Director to fill capacity and meet set targets
  • Maximize occupancy and average rates through well-executed inventory and yield management control in cooperation with the Revenue Manager
  • Secure enquiries, options and negotiations for groups, meetings and events bookings are carried out and high quality standard for input into all systems from is managed at all time
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the hotel, senior management and Hilton Worldwide’s structures
