Graphic Designer / Senior Designer (UX/UI & Brand)

Amabilis OÜ
15 - 25 €/h Gross
100% remote work

About the role

About the role

Amabilis OÜ develops and markets cosmetic products for wholesale clients across Europe — and we support those clients with the design and marketing work behind their brands. In this category, design is the product experience: on the shelf, on the screen, in the inbox.

We're looking for an Art Director / Senior Designer to lead the creative work we deliver for our clients — from brand identity and packaging through to the digital experience: websites, landing pages and campaign funnels. You'll move between several client brands, each with its own audience and visual world. This is a step up from a pure production role: you'll be shaping direction and presenting it, not just executing briefs.

The setup suits someone who already runs their own client base and wants one reliable, recurring engagement alongside it — you decide when you work, we give you a workload you can plan around.

What you’ll do:

Art direction & brand

  • Develop and evolve brand identities for our clients in the beauty & cosmetics space — visual language, art direction, brand guidelines
  • Translate a client's positioning into creative concepts for product launches and campaigns, from first idea to final asset
  • Present and explain your concepts to clients, and turn their feedback into better work
  • Work within existing client CI where it's set, and build it from scratch where it isn't
  • Keep quality and consistency high across every touchpoint, including work produced by freelancers and partners

UX/UI & web design

  • Design websites, landing pages and product pages for client brands: wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity UI in Figma
  • Build and maintain design systems and component libraries that scale across brands
  • Design for conversion — optimise product and checkout journeys, and back up decisions with data and A/B testing
  • Hand off cleanly to developers and stay involved through implementation (no coding required, but you should speak their language)

Campaign & content design

  • Social media content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and beyond
  • Print assets: brochures, packaging, POS displays
  • Newsletters and email campaign visuals (Mailchimp, Klaviyo or similar)
  • (Optional) Motion design, video editing, 3D product renderings

What you bring:

Essential

  • 5+ years in graphic design, with demonstrable art direction experience
  • A portfolio showing both brand/print work and digital product or web design — this is the main thing we'll look at
  • Experience working across multiple brands or clients at once, and switching confidently between different visual styles
  • Expert-level Figma, plus strong Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Solid grasp of UX fundamentals: user flows, information architecture, responsive design, accessibility basics
  • Experience designing for e-commerce or D2C brands
  • Comfortable presenting work to clients and handling feedback constructively
  • A strong eye for visual storytelling, consistency and detail
  • Fluent English and a proactive, hands-on mindset — you can run a project without being managed
  • Based in Estonia and eligible to work here

Nice to have

  • Agency or studio background
  • Beauty, cosmetics, or lifestyle/FMCG experience
  • Motion design and video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
  • 3D product visualisation (Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot)
  • Familiarity with Webflow, Shopify or WordPress on the design side
  • Experience directing photo or video shoots
  • Basic knowledge of German

What we offer

  • Full creative ownership. You set the direction and defend it — no committee, no redesigning someone else's idea. What you decide is what ships.
  • Several brands instead of one. Different markets, product categories and audiences, so your portfolio grows with every project rather than repeating itself.
  • You organise your own time. No fixed hours, no core times, no daily stand-ups. We agree deadlines, you decide how you get there.
  • A workload you can plan around. A steady, recurring engagement that sits well alongside your own clients — predictable volume without a full-time commitment.
  • Freelance or part-time contract (VÕS leping) — a salaried employment contract is also possible, after a trial period
  • Fully remote — you can be based anywhere in Estonia
  • International beauty & cosmetics projects, with room to grow into a lead creative role
  • A small, supportive team that answers quickly and doesn't bury you in process
  • €15–25 gross/hour, depending on experience, qualifications and form of contract. Wilingness to overpay according to qualifications.
