IPF Digital is offering a challenging role for a Fraud and Chargeback Analyst.
This amazing opportunity offers a once in a lifetime chance to be part of the central team responsible for growing IPF Digital focusing on Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. You will work as part of the hub IPF Digital Credit and Risk team.
Your role purpose is to design, develop and manage fraud prevention strategy in Fenno Baltics region and manage card payments chargebacks as well as create ad-hoc analysis leading to take strategic decisions and actions. As the Fraud and Chargeback Analyst, you will work closely with global group fraud prevention and credit team and act as a middleman between the IPF Digital hub and respective markets operations and management.
You will be a hands-on, commercially focused data analyst that gets a buzz from seeing the link between what you do and the bottom line whilst working across a broad area of operational areas. Key responsibilities in the role is to build relationships with key stakeholders in Fenno Baltics markets with the aim of:
• Improving the capability of our credit decision
• Mitigating financial loss risk due fraudulent applications
• Monitoring applications to ensure fraud ratio is kept within agreed risk appetite level
• Keeping eye on card transactions and taking action if anything suspicious detected
• Managing chargeback disputes process
• Suggesting business fraud prevention tools and strategies
• Providing analytical support as required on an ad hoc basis
• Presenting reports and analysis to the leadership team, taking every opportunity to make recommendations to improve business performance
• Improving long term sustainable profitability and success of the business

• Knowledge and previous experience with fraud prevention, card payments risk monitoring and chargeback management
Desirable:
• Banking background
• Certificate on statistics, computer science or analysis/ data modelling, data mining / mathematics related subject(desirable)
• Relevant technical knowledge within SQL and DWH usage (WPS would be beneficial)
• Ability to attend business trips
