Job Description

  • Preparing budgets and tracking, reporting and analysing budget variances
  • Ensuring accuracy of the financial statements, including consolidated reports
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Preparing accurate month-end reports for management, including P/L, balance sheets, cash flow and net own funds
  • Recommending changes to improve financial performance
  • Overseeing the audits, also including investment funds audits managed by the Business
  • Maintaining invoicing systems and expenditure data
  • Overseeing VAT Returns
  • Support to the legal function with respect to Company AGM`s and EGM`s
  • Communication with accountants in Estonia and Luxembourg
  • Communication with clients and other stakeholders
  • HR Function support
  • Assistance in ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements

  • Ideally, 5 years+ of work experience in finance sector
  • Prior experience in the similar role either in the Fund management industry, Administrator or Audit firm
  • is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, finance, statistics, mathematics
  • Good written and spoken English, with knowledge of French or German being an advantage
  • Good verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Assertive, ability to influence and deal with third parties
  • Good analytical and investigation skills
  • Good planning and organizational ability
  • Good excel and quantitative analysis skills, knowledge of financial products
  • IT literate with skills in Work/Excel/Outlook/Powerpoint
