Farm Company Manager (CEO/Managing Director)

We are looking for a farm manager (managing director board) for one of our farms producing cereal, rapsseed and forage on up to 4.500 ha.

At two farmsteads we milk more than 1.000 cows and rear heifers. The farm area is located between Adavere and Imavere.

 

Qualification: Applicants should have

• Thorough understanding of forage, cash crop production and dairy farming.
• Proven work experience track in managing and team leading positions in agriculture.
• University degree in agriculture.
• Knowledge of farm business legislation and accounting.
• Cost controlling, budget planning, KPI, and work efficiencies is key to this position.
• Very good communication skills, decision-making, and analysis skills.
• Proficient software skills particular crop-field-software and herd-management-software
• Driving license.
• Very good Estonian and advance English skills.

• Ability and motivation to work in a dedicating and challenging real teamwork approach.
• Acceptance and own interest in clear operation task planning, in matching milestones, and in regularly reporting to group management.
• Highly flexible working time and working inputs covering a broad range of activities during vege­tation time.
