ELECTRICAL ENGINEER,
Hop on board!
We are looking for a shipbuilding Electrical Engineer who is willing to take up the challenge of leading complex cruise ships’ electrical installations (as new buildings as a retrofit) projects and has experience and ability to lead teams all over the world.
Job Description:
- Take responsibility for engineering tasks and perform associated calculations;
- Design new ways to use electrical power to develop or improve products;
- Write and check calculation notes, analysis reports, and specifications of materials;
- Develop maintenance and testing procedures for electronic components and equipment;
- Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair;
- Analyze the needs of the technology and determine the requirements, capacity, and the cost of developing an electrical system plan;
- Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations;
- Plan and develop applications and modifications for electronic properties used in parts and systems to improve technical performance;
- Confirming system's and component’s capabilities by designing testing methods and properties;
- Researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials;
- Project Management: delivery, cost, operational schedule, and reporting;
- To prepare, check, and coordinate the release of documentation to support system manufacture;
- To analyze product design requirements and recommend alternative solutions;
- To strive for continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes;
- Communicate with material and equipment suppliers.
Requirements
- At least a Master’s Degree in engineering(Naval architecture/Ocean/Mechanical/Offshore or Marine);
- 5 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on mechanical structure design and engineering experience;
- Engineering software skills: AutoCAD (or other design software);
- Experience with project management;
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, motion, and control components;
- Good communication skills in English;
- Ability to work well independently and in a team;
- Good leadership, planning, organizing, and interpersonal skills.
