Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in the fast-growing FinTech company in the Tallinn office. ?

As a Data Engineer, you would be designing and maintaining data pipeline architecture. It is a great opportunity to fully own data engineering function and drive best-in-class solutions. The successful candidate knows how to work with technical requirements and build optimized and long-term solutions.?

Your task will include:

• ? Designing and building data extraction from various source systems.
• ?️ Creating and maintaining an efficient data pipeline architecture.
• ? Optimizing our Data Warehouse.
• ? Monitoring and ensuring data quality.
• ? Collaborating with Data Analysts to implement changes in the Data Warehouse.
• ? Identifying and defining opportunities for process improvements.

If so, consider joining our team as a Data Engineer. You will be part of a Data team that works in an agile way to produce and maintain company DWH, business insights, and reports. By working closely with all departments, you will have a hands-on role in shaping the future of the company.

• ? Experience applying software engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
• ? Proficiency in ELT/ETL and scheduling tools (e.g., Prefect, Airflow).
• ? Solid experience with large-scale data platforms (GCP, S3, Hadoop, etc.) and modern data warehouse technologies (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, etc.).
• ? Proven ability to build and optimize data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
• ? Strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python).
