What are the goals and responsibilities of a CRO Strategist?
Your role will involve identifying data-informed growth marketing opportunities and optimizing on-site user flow and experience. Your main goal will be to execute an experimentation-driven implementation aimed at converting website visitors into customers.
Within Conversion and UX Research tasks, we will rely on you to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify website optimization opportunities with the highest potential return. You will proceed by evaluating websites and eCommerce stores based on best practices (heuristic evaluation) and transforming findings into actionable insights and recommendations to enhance the customer experience on eCommerce stores.
As our CRO Strategist, you will take responsibility for setting up and managing experimentation programs and ensuring continuous A/B testing on our client's websites. This will be done by enabling user experience personalization on eCommerce sites, planning and implementing eCommerce website optimization programs, and fostering close collaboration with Developers, Data Analysts, UI designers, and Project Managers.
What do we expect from a CRO Strategist?
Previous work experience in CRO, UX Design, Customer Experience, A/B Testing, or eCommerce fields and confident written and spoken English skills are mandatory .
We expect you to have a strong knowledge of Google Analytics , the ability to validate ideas through A/B or usability testing , and excellent presentation skills . You must be confident in building slide decks and Excel reports, as well as explaining all collected data to a mainstream audience. Additionally, achieving this requires great relationship-building and communication skills.
Overall, we seek a passionate personality to develop optimization and growth strategies for online merchants and bring ideas to life. Previous experience with a hands-on approach will prove beneficial when running a CRO research program. This role requires an organized mindset and strong project management skills to take ownership of assigned clients and ensure a smooth and efficient optimization program.
These are not required qualities, but we will consider it as a bonus if you have prior experience with web design, development processes, and qualitative and quantitative research. Familiarity with PPC and SEO, or have HTML/CSS, Javascript, or jQuery knowledge.
