Compliance Officer

As our new Compliance Officer, you will be part of the compliance team in Tallinn, Estonia. The position is crucial to supporting our mission to make the financial markets accessible to everyone. Here are some of the tasks and challenges you will tackle:

• Customer Onboarding Maestro, able to perform CDD/EDD Independently
• Local Data Protection Representative in accordance with GDPR & Regulation Subject matter Knowledge
• Coordinate AML/KYC Activities with Compliance colleagues in Luxembourg
• Assign and assess Risk ratings and lead customer Remediation Projects
• Crypto & Fiat transaction Monitoring Expert
• Investigate and act on financial crimes incl. SAR/STR filings
• Manage manual reviews of PEP & Sanction Alerts and discard false matches properly
• Report directly to Blocktrade’s Head of Compliance / CCO

We are looking for an ambitious and curious person who has experience in compliance and wants to join our motivated and all-round awesome team to help us shape the future of finance. Here’s what we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field, Compliance Certification (e.g. CAMS) is a plus
• 3-7 years Crypto Exchange, FinTech or ePayments Compliance professional experience
• Experience with BlockChain analysis & KYC RegTech tools
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Extensive analytical skills as well as good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Team player with solution-oriented way of thinking and high level of motivation
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
