Chief digital officer

The purpose of this position is to develop and implement the information and communication technology (ICT) strategy, which supports activities and goals of the College.

 

Job Description:

• to lead the deployment and administation of ICT solutions ensuring and supporting competitiveness, which support sustainable development of the College;
• to lead and coordinate our IT-team;
• To develop, ensure and be responsible for:
• Functioning of the College´s data transmission networks and operation of publicly available network services;
• information security management;
• development of IT solutions;
• development of multimedia solutions;
• organisation of IT-systems´ user support and counselling for College´s staff, incl. collaboration with employees of Human Resources to plan and organise trainings for IT-systems´ users;
• establishment and respecting the ICT budget, effective use of available resources;
• organisation of e-learning and supporting its implementation, developing appropriate modern solutions on that matter;
• management and control of databases and study systems used by the College, offering user support;
• to plan activities of the IT-team in collaboration with other structural units of the College.

• You have receptiveness to cooperation, and communication, and you are able to explain your ideas, and thoughts to the others clearly;
• You have project management experience;
• You have higher education, preferrably in information technology or other technical field, and you have at least 5 years of experience working in the field of IT and at least 3 years of management experience;
• You are fluent in Estonian and in English.
