Baltic Product Expert

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Baltic Product Expert to support product development for the Estonian market. In this role, you will work closely with Baltic Product Managers and local stakeholders to bring Estonian customer, market, and product insight into decisions across a varied insurance product portfolio.

You will turn data and insights into practical product improvements, help adapt Baltic solutions to the Estonian market, and support clear, competitive products that are easy for customers and colleagues to understand.

What you will do 

Product development and localization

• Partner with Baltic Product Managers to implement, maintain, and continuously improve products across the diverse Estonian insurance portfolio.
• Bring Estonian customer, market, regulatory, and business perspectives into Baltic product development.
• Adapt Baltic-wide product initiatives, materials, and product features to local needs while supporting consistency across the region.
• Help ensure product information and documentation are accurate, clear, and up to date.

Local product expertise and support

• Act as a trusted local expert across the diverse Estonian product portfolio.
• Provide product guidance and practical support to colleagues and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute local expertise when a Baltic Product Manager does not have a local presence.
• Identify opportunities to simplify products, processes, and customer journeys.

Market insight and business development

• Monitor customer needs, market developments, competitor activity, and emerging trends in Estonia.
• Use research, data, and business insight to identify gaps and opportunities for product improvement.
• Contribute to product decisions and help strengthen our competitive position.
• Support the evaluation of product performance and recommend actions based on evidence.

Collaboration and execution

• Collaborate with Product Management and other relevant stakeholders to gather input, support alignment, and contribute to smooth implementation.
• Support Product Managers in coordinating product changes and improvements from planning through implementation and follow-up.
• Help assess activities based on customer value, business impact, risk, and feasibility.
• Communicate product updates, decisions, and insights clearly to different audiences.

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, mathematics, or another relevant field.
• Has experience in insurance, product development, financial services, customer service, or another customer-focused environment.
• Has a good understanding of the Estonian insurance market, customer needs, and relevant market trends; this is considered an advantage.
• Has experience working with data and enjoys using analysis, insights, and evidence to identify patterns, solve problems, and support decisions.
• Is proactive, forward-thinking, and comfortable taking ownership of complex topics, moving work forward, and challenging existing ways of working when needed.
• Has strong coordination or project management skills and can deliver changes with quality and pace.
• Works independently, follows through on commitments, and enjoys sparring with colleagues to reach strong team outcomes.
• Enjoys collaborating across functions and countries in a matrix organisation.
• Communicates clearly and confidently in Estonian and English.

• Influence products used by customers in Estonia and across the Baltic region.
• Bring the local customer perspective into regional product decisions.
• Work with experienced colleagues in a collaborative, international environment.
• Contribute to meaningful improvements in products, processes, and customer experience.
• Develop your expertise in product development, market analysis, and insurance while taking real ownership.
