Accountant (Xolo Group)

We are looking for a detail-oriented, enthusiastic Accountant to join our growing team in Tallinn or Tartu office!

About the role

You will be joining a small team of highly motivated people taking care of accounting and compliance for Xolo's internal group. In this role, you will contribute to developing a new product that helps to collaborate with freelance talent across the globe in a compliant, secure and blazing-fast way. You will be processing, storing and analyzing accounting data and documents, communicating with the customers and solving their relevant requests on a day-to-day basis. Due to this, it is important that you have a genuine interest in accounting. To achieve the best possible outcome, you are expected to collaborate closely with Finance Officer, management, development and customer support teams.

To succeed in this role, we expect

• Experience with General Accounting for ~2 years, preferably relevant studies to back it up
• Sound knowledge of best practices and Accounting laws in Estonia
• Good communication skills in English and Estonian (both written and spoken)
• Strong sense of accountability, not afraid of responsibility and making your own decisions
• Proficient computer user (we appreciate experience with different accounting systems)
• Interest in improving processes and automatization and can communicate your ideas to our development team
• More importantly, you are always open to learning new skills, and enjoy experimenting with alternative methods to be efficient in your work
