Accountant

About the job
As the Accountant you will work together with our company culture as solid ground, optimising our financial strategies for business growth. You will be responsible for securing that accounting and tax activities are carried out according to current laws and guidelines and in the most efficient way. In this role you will ensure accounting based on our Code of Conduct, company culture and long term business strategies.
 
Your tasks will include
Support daily operations on financial accounting and reporting functions.
Participate in month-end closing, e.g. preparation of journals, account analysis and reconciliations.
Take care of co-worker payments and salary calculation.
Timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
Participate in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises where needed.
Support the annual audit and year-end process, and other ad hoc projects as required.

To be successful in this role you need to have
Finance and/or accounting education.
2-3 years of experience in accounting preferably in the retail or FMCG industry.
Disciplined, honest, and good attention to detail.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Flawless knowledge of Estonian language both written and spoken.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision would be considered an advantage.
