Software Engineer (Maintenance)

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Maintain criticality class 1 services on payment processing platforms following ITIL processes and using ticketing systems like Service Now;
• Maintain high-quality Java applications;
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on OpenShift;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to release new features and bug fixes;
• Use GitHub for version control;
• Maintain messaging solutions using MQ (Message Queues), Kafka, or RabbitMQ;
• Readiness to be in the on-call;
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience);
• Previous experience in IT development or maintenance;
• Experience with monitoring using ELK stack, Zabbix, Grafana in a bonus;
• Experience with relational databases;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team;
• Fluent in speaking and writing in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with microservices architecture;
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure;
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with payment flows.
