In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Continuously learn new areas within the business and the directives, regulations, risks, and controls connected to them;
  • Provide sustainable improvement and protect organizational value by risk based and objective assurance, advice and insight;
  • Perform annual risk assessments within the areas of Lending and Financial & Regulatory Reporting;
  • Manage and perform audit engagements both locally and cross border;
  • Write audit reports, agree findings and actions with the organization and communicate audit results to responsible management to enable the Bank to manage strategic, operational and compliance risk effectively;
  • Be a trusted speaking partner, who supports the organization in reaching their goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in auditing, compliance or other internal control work from banking or financial industry;
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field;
  • Demonstrated skills to quickly understand and structure information;
  • Understanding of regulations in governance and internal control (or high motivation to learn).
  • Having an understanding of lending processes, financial and regulatory reporting, and familiarity or interest in analyzing quantitative data;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Estonian;
  • Strong project management skills, analytical proficiency, and a demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines;
  • Good understanding of audit methodology, effective communication skills and a problem-solving mindset;
  • Willingness to work in international teams and travel;
  • Excellent ability to build and create trust.
