Welding processes:

• Carrying out welding work on thick metal structures under ultrasound (136th welding process).
• Application of welding techniques necessary to ensure high quality welded joints.

Equipment and tools:

• Operate appropriate welding equipment, including ultrasonic welders and planing tools.
• Maintenance and repair of welding equipment as necessary.

Using WPS (Welding Procedural Specifications):

• Follows and applies Welding Procedural Specifications (WPS) as required by the project.
• Monitor and record welding process data according to established standards.

Quality control:

• Carrying out quality control of your welding joints using methods provided in production.

Compliance with safety standards and regulations:

• Strict compliance with all safety standards and regulations prescribed in production.
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures when handling equipment and materials.

Interaction with the team:

• Collaborate with other members of the production team, engineers and other specialists to successfully implement the project.
• Providing progress reports and discussing any issues with project management.

Professional experience:

• Experience as a welder on large projects for at least 3 years.
• Experience in offshore structural manufacturing (Desirable).
• Knowledge and experience in the use of gauging equipment, especially as it relates to working with thick metal.

EU citizen or Work Residence Permit in Finland.

Certifications and Qualifications:

• Availability of appropriate welding certifications (EN 9606-1 and welding operators according to EN14732).
• Knowledge and experience with Welding Procedural Specifications (WPS).
• Safety and hot work cards.

Technical education:

• Education or training in welding, metallurgy or related field.
• Knowledge of technical aspects of welding, including metallurgy, heat transfer, etc.

Experience with equipment:

• Experience with various types of welding equipment and gauging tools.
• Skills in maintenance and repair of welding equipment.

Quality control:

• Experience in quality control of welding joints.
• Knowledge of quality standards and project requirements.

Safety Skills:

• Knowledge and experience of complying with safety regulations and regulations, particularly in an offshore environment.
• Experience using personal protective equipment and following safety procedures.

Communication skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and project management.
