Back-End Engineer

About the role ??

Join our Tuul software team and develop scalable and reliable back-end systems for Tuul. You'll take a lead role in designing, developing, and deploying Tuul’s back-end systems. You’ll also have a chance to contribute ideas and give constructive feedback on product planning.

You will work closely with our software and product teams to build new features to provide the best user experience possible. This is your chance to play a key role in Tuul’s continued growth and success.

About you ??‍♀️

You will be the perfect team member if you have a passion for the latest technologies, are highly self-motivated, and can work independently in a small team taking care of Java development. To succeed you should also have proven experience with Java and modern development tools (git, task management, continuous integration, etc). Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Load Balancer, Cloud Storage, BigQuery) and Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Messaging, App Check, Remote Config) development experience is a bonus!

You will fit right in if you are detail-oriented and have an ownership mentality - thrive in taking ownership, and the ability to lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment. You have a "can-do" attitude, good communication skills and a creative mind to find solutions.
