PRODUCT STEWARD IN BALTICS

In the Product Steward position you will ensure that 3M new products comply with local product compliance laws in the Baltics before these products are placed on the market. Your daily activities involve handling and reviewing chemical, article and environmental data in several IT systems and databases to carry out these product approvals. You collaborate closely within the regional team and other functions in EMEA to manage customer regulatory questions. You do local translations for safety data sheets with support from an external translation agency; review and approve product label artwork in local languages; send new safety data sheets to the Poison Centre; submit packaging waste compliance reports to local government and handle annual audits. You monitor and assess local regulatory requirements and trends, present regulatory awareness information to colleagues when needed and support the sales and marketing team on product safety issues. There is the opportunity to develop and work closely with the UK team.

Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental or life sciences; other degrees accepted with regulatory experience
• Knowledge of local and EU regulations e.g. CLP, REACH, CE-marking
• Good Excel skills; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent written and spoken Estonian and English
• Structured and analytical, can-do attitude, with good administrative ability
• Positive, self-driven, professional, team player, but also able to work independently
